Remote sensing technology is used in many areas today, facilitating spatial analysis operations under difficult conditions. This offers solutions different fields such as forest degradation, land classification, change and mine detection. In particular, detection of great importance for the economies countries. Detecting mines with terrestrial measurement techniques vegetated a challenging situation, but sites can be easily detected, by using satellite images shorter time. When plants are exposed to heavy metals, anomalies occur they cause reduction amount chlorophyll. observed decrease reflectance values. this study, it aimed detect stress due metal measuring values mining area non-mining area. context, VIGS index exploited on Landsat ETM+ belong Cukuralan/Izmir Kisladag/Usak regions both gold non-gold areas. Other vegetation indices (NDVI, GNDVI, BNDVI) were also computed these when covered vegetation.
